*An asterisk denotes a fake place name. I sometimes make up aliases for lesser known spots because I don't want to be the one who blows them up on the internet, but I still want to share my adventure. Granted, I doubt many people read this, but all it takes is one social media influencer to find out about a secret spot and put it on Instagram, and POOF: it's overrun with tourists and beer cans.
